“We’re delighted to be working with Camm & Hooper to enable cashless giving across their London venues’” said Steve Wilks, COO at For Good Causes. “We’re using QR codes and express digital checkout to make it easy for people to donate instantly from their phones simply by scanning the QR, from a water bottle at their table or even their cloakroom ticket - virtually anything can become a touchpoint to trigger a donation. As an increasingly cashless society, UK charities are losing circa £80m a year. We want to make it quick and easy for people to donate spontaneously, if they’re motivated to do so. And what better way than to make use of the technology we never leave home without - our mobile phones!”
Camm & Hooper announced a new partnership with GiveOut in August 2018 and the For Good Causes digital donation service, Donate by Thumb, will go live in their Soho venue Six Storeys on 6th July to coincide with their Bottomless Brunch Pride event, with diners having the opportunity to support GiveOut from their tables. “We are thrilled to be working with For Good Causes. Camm & Hooper support a number of incredible charities and it’s extremely exciting to be able to offer our customers a quick and simple way to donate” said Debra Ward, Managing Director, Camm & Hooper.
